Communications

With the technological boom, a global network of communication has been crafted. No longer restricted to those of privileged social status, the tools for communication allow greater interaction amongst people from all backgrounds. Their effects are twofold: they have the ability to build cross-cultural bridges, yet at the same time, they can easily be used to create greater hostilities between groups. Of most concern are the distorted views that can be fostered by today's media. The Claude Pepper Center for Intercultural Dialogue provides an outlet for those willing to deepen intercultural understanding by means of well-balanced media works.
